Installing Windows Mobile 6 on my device RRS feed

  • Windows Mobile development is not open for all. you have to contact Microsoft for signing some agreement to get the build environment. After that you have to port or buy the device's Board support packages to Windows Mobile and create your binary for your device.

  • Porting means Migrating the Windows CE 6.0 BSP to Windows Mobile 6.0

  • So, do you want to say, that (after signing agreement) I can create Windows Mobile 6.0 image using Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Platform Builder? I just can't understand how I'll do this migration.

  • Hello,

I think your issue should be raised in the Windows Embedded Compact Platform Development. I believe they will know more information of this issue than us, and I will move this one to that forum.

    Thanks for your understanding,
