Visual Studio hangs up when trying to debug WebMatrix 3 projects RRS feed

    I am trying to debug Web sites I created with WebMatrix 3 using Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate or Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate.  This used to work perfectly a while back.  Now every time I run a project the IDE hangs and I get the dreaded "Not Responding" message in the IDE title bar, requiring the killing of the IDE via the Task Manager to shut it down.  

    How can I fix this?

    Hi roschler,

    Thanks for you post.

    Please check whether are there any detail error message in the Event Viewer. Please provide the details if it has.

    1. Right click the Computer icon=>Manage
    2. System Tools=>Event Viewer=>Windows Logs=>Application

    Note: Debug the project, then refresh the application log in the event viewer when the IDE dreaded.
