SQL Azure and 3rd party tools support?

Question
-
I saw in another post here that "official" SSMS support is coming for Azure. Will this supposedly include better support for using 3rd party tools to access SQL Azure?
I personally prefer more lightweight and portable tools like QueryExpress and SqlBuddy over SSMS. I just tested and these tools barely work or don't work against SQL Azure right now.Thursday, December 10, 2009 7:48 AM

Surely its up to the authors of those tools to make them work with SQL Azure (the same as SSMS has been made to work with it) is it not?

There are a few third party client tools available that supports SQL Azure. You can find some of them listed here: http://beyondrelational.com/wikis/sqlazure/sql-azure-tools.aspx
