can't compile with anything other than /clr:safe, please help! RRS feed

  • Question

  • as told in the title, I'm trying to port some old codes written in VS2003 .NET into VS community 2015, I changed some codes and fiddled with the project properties dialog, until there's only 1 reported error. After I fixed that, bam, there came thousands more errors all ending with "cannot compile with /clr:safe". The problem is I already set the common language run time to /clr ( in project property pages), but these errors just keep coming no matter what I do. As a newbie, I'm fresh out of ideas, and any suggestions would be welcome.
