  • Getting below error message after compilation.
    can anyone help me to rectify this.... ?
    Error 107 The "Microsoft.Sdc.Tasks.Xml.ModifyFile" task could not be loaded from the assembly C:\Working\Proj\..\Build\ClickOnce\Microsoft.Sdc.Tasks.dll. Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Sdc.Configuration, Version=1.2.5000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=e24a7ed7109b7e39' or one of its dependencies. Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A) Confirm that the <UsingTask> declaration is correct, and that the assembly and all its dependencies are available. C:\Working\Proj\Proj.csproj 92 5 Proj

  • Hi,

    It seems that the issue is caused by Microsoft.Sdc.Configuration reference.

    You need to check whether you have added the right version of Microsoft.Sdc.Configuration to the dll.

  • See the following article for details on similar problem. Did you recently switched from 32 bit to 64 bit machine?
