Visual Studio for performing load and performance testing.

Hi,

I want to know the exact tool name which can be used for doing performance and load testing from Microsoft. Also how can I know that software licence cost?

I want to do performance testing of web application built on .Net framework with below given users.

User

1) 500

2) 850

3)1000

4) Less than 500

Hi Dhansingh,

With Visual Studio Ultimate, we could run performance tests on our app. With full version of Visual Studio 2012, it remove 250 virtual user limit for load testing.

Hello Dhansingh,

If you are planning to use VS 2015, then you should choose to buy Enterprise version as load testing is supported in this edition. Check the below link

Prior version, you should choose to buy Ultimate edition i.e VS 2010/12/13

The number of Virtual users is unlimited in the latest edition.
