Index is outside bounds of array RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Team,

We have a .Net application which is accessed through Windows embedded standard 7 service pack 1, thin clients. Few months back, users started getting error, 'Index is outside bounds of array'. It goes away and allow users to continue if they refresh the page.

We have done an investigation at application side, but could not find  anything unusual. This application is being used globally, but issue was reported from a single site. Data used across sites are same, and verified there are no data errors.

Please help to know if this is related to system configurations, and how to resolve if so.

  • This sounds like a problem in the program rather than an OS issue. Does the same issue happen in Windows 7 SP1?

  • Hi Sean,

    Thanks for the reply.

When we use application from normal Desktop PCs and laptops with windows 7, we don't see this error. Few of the thin clients with Windows embedded standard 7 SP1 throws this error.(Our application is being used globally, and issue is reported only from Maple Grove, All other sites work fine as expected).

Application was working fine till October. So far we, with help of application vendor, have verified app server configurations, application, Data being used etc. and could not find anything unusual.

    Appreciate your help.

  • Is the WES7 image something that your company built, or is this an off-the-shelf system where your software is installed?
