  • Hi Harsha,

There is no specific requirements for the 802.11w AP. Any AP properly encrypting the management frames should work. Our test simply tests for association and that the frames are correctly encrypted.

Typically we suggest that our partners use any of the APs from their existing Wi-Fi Alliance test bed (as getting WFA certification is a requirement in the WLAN HCK) and enabling protected management frames on one of these APs.

However, if you still need a specific model, there are 4 models I am aware of, where any one of these should be compatible:

    Broadcom - BCM94718NR
    Marvell - CD-88W-AP95-A0
    Qualcomm Atheros - AR5KAP-096PMF
    Ralink - RT3800PDAP3
