Help troubleshooting signing HLK package RRS feed

  • Question

  • This has been a long, painful process so far....but I'm gotten all the way to the submission part.

My drivers are signed with EV certificates and I've passed the WHLK tests.

There were problems with the INF problem, fixed those...and made new CAT files.

From the HLK Studio, I click 'Create Package' and it goes thur all the steps and asks for my USB Token password.

I enter the password and get a successful message.

If i right click on the generate isn't signed.

If I attempt to submit it via the dashboard, it also whines that it's not signed.

Back in the HLK Studio, I have a Check Mark under Signability and if I right click on it....Signability Results is grayed out.

Can someone point me to some sort of troubleshooting log or something.

  • I was finally able to submit the's what I did:

    1. installed the complete Win 10 SDK on the central WLK server
    2. When thru submission of my EV certificate process again (got a message saying that it was a duplicate)
    3. When thru the Create package process with the WLK Studio
    4. Submitted the package to Hardware Dev Dashboard

Note:  Windows Explorer doesn't show the Digital Certificate on the .HLKX that was signed.

I hope my lessons helps someone else.
