security settings, installation of ISAPI

Hi,

I just build sample ISAPI samples and try to load up from browser.

I got "login dialog box" whenever I access to any isapi files. When I cancel that dialog, I got "you are not authorized to view this page". Even I upload just a skeleton of ISAPI application, I got that dialog box.

my url is as follows:

www.mydomain.com/isapi_folder/MyIsapi.dll

Can anyone advise me?

You need to make sure related users has read permissions to the dll file. E.g. (systems, anonymous user - iusr_computername, etc)

You can try filemon (sysinternals.com) to trace the access errors.
