I can't get Workflow 2013 to run on SharePoint 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I can't get Workflow 2013 to run on SharePoint 2013. I followed a few articles but no luck. It is installed on 1 machine and the client on all servers except that when I test it, it fails miserably. Any help will be appreciated. This is the error code I get after the workflow job has been canceled automatically:

RequestorId: 7a23aa8f-93d4-0b77-501c-cfa555f957b1. Details: System.ApplicationException: HTTP 401 {"error_description":"The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error. Yeah, I believe the issue is related to Profile Synchronization. It fails when I start it.

I believe this is because I also can't get profile synchronization to work as well. There are certain AD elevated permissions that our Domain Administrations will not work with me. It's a tough situation.
