Kinect API with OpenCV using C++! any help? RRS feed

  • Hey all

    I want to get the image and depth streams into the native openCV image format. Is there any wrapper available or has someone had experience with this problem. I am using c++ (Not managed code) and i just want the simple rgb and depth data. Are there any basic C++ examples out there to get the raw data from the camera? thanks in advance

    ovImage = cvCreateImage(cvSize(640, 480), 8, 4);
    cvSetData(ovImage, pBuffer, ovImage->widthStep);

    The channels per pixel must be four.

    I guess it relates to the definition of RGBQUAD structure.

        BYTE  rgbBlue;
        BYTE  rgbGreen;
        BYTE  rgbRed;
        BYTE  rgbReserved;
    } RGBQUAD;
