Error message on installing Powerpivot for excel "1: 0 2:" 32 bit RRS feed

  • Have followed instructions to the letter.

    Using office 2010 with the office shared features on

    Using 86 download

    NET 3.5 framework running

    Have searched on error message but not finding that google or bing is my friend

    Anyone have any thoughts/answers alternative routes to investigate?

    Here you mentioned you have some error when install the PowerPivot add-in for Excel, could you please show us the error message. Besides, I still give some advice to this issue, please check is your office 32bit or 64bit, then download the relevant PowerPivot Add-in for your Excel, you can refer to the download center http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=7609

  • Issue resolved

    Searching widely for the error message identified a similar response on adobe which identified it as a local admin rights issue

    Refreshing admin rights and installation worked perfectly
