How to control the columns when exporting a Reporting Service report to Excel RRS feed

  • When exporting a report to excel,  a column in the report may become two merged columns in excel.   Is there a way to prevent the merged columns?

    There is no way to control the merging of cells for Excel other then working on your report layout to reduce the merging. This sounds like a good feature request. You can file it at http://connect.microsoft.com. Filing the request will give other customers a chance to vote on the feature too.
