Class order in Linq to Sql designer RRS feed

  • Question

  • There are several places in visual studio with drop down lists of LINQ classes.  For example, the drop downs in the association editor (Parent class and Child class lists).

They seem to be organized based on when the object was added to the design surface, and I think this structure is defined in the .layout file.  This is awful.  Is there a way to get classes sorted alphabetically?

    Thanks

  • Hello G:F:C,

Welcome to The MSDN Forum and thank you for posting here.

Actually I don't understander well what you mean. And what you mean is you want to get the LINQ classes, which are automatically created by visual studio? Then you want to sort these classes alphabetically?

    Am I right?

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

    Beat Regards,
