    Hello,

    domain.com
    a.domain.com
    b.domain.com
    [any].domain.com

IIS does not allow the host name: *.domain.com

IIS does not support wildcard domains like Apache and other web servers.

You will need to instead set up a wildcard DNS entry and assign a static IP address to your site.
You will then need code your application and handle the processing of the subdomain if in fact you need this information.
