Forms-based authentication and Windows Authentication

Question
-
Here's the Project Server 2010 setup I have. A PWA site is provisioned on a sharepoint web application which uses Windows authentication. This web application is extended for external access. Forms-based authentication is used for external access.
My question is, can the same user which is defined in Project Server login using both methods (internally, using Windows authentication AND externally, using forms-based authentication)? do I need to create two accounts under PWA for the same user?!
Any help is very appreciated.
Thanks.

Is there anyway at all to associate the user under PWA with both identities, the windows identity (domain\user) and the forms-based identify (memberhip:username), so that the same user can login using both methods?
Thanks.
