Identifier "MFFrameRateToAverageTimePerFrame" is undefined. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to use a Sink Writer in a Windows Store App. So my starting point is "Tutorial: Using the Sink Writer to Encode Video (Windows)" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ff819477(v=vs.85).aspx). When I used the code in a console app, I managed to create a video. But because I want to use it in a Store App, I tried to use the code in a WRLClassLibrary. But I got the a compile error "identifier "MFFrameRateToAverageTimePerFrame" is undefined". Does anyone have a clue which header file I have to include, or what else is giving me this error?

    I have a C# background, and no C++ knowledge.

    Thanks in advance!

    EDIT: Found out that apparently this function only is available in desktop apps. Anyone knows why not in Store Apps, and how to determine the duration of a sample?
