  • Hi Priya2WPF,

I try Shift + F10 in any other programs in Windows, all of them can work with this shortcut. So I think this shortcut is belong to Windows default shortcuts.

In Visual Studio settings, we can assign shortcut for Visual Studio specific operations with the steps in my first reply. But we can't change Windows' shortcuts in Visual Studio.

So I'm afraid that we can't change the Mouse Right Click shortcut in Visual Studio settings. I suggest you submit this requirement to Visual Studio User Voice and then share the link here. It can let other communities who has the same requirement to vote and add comments for your feedback.

  • Hi Priya2WPF,

Please assign Shift + F10 to some other key from menu Tools -> Options -> Environment -> Keyboard in Visual Studio.

For example, if you want to assign the Shift + F10 to AddAnalysisNotes, please open above menu and choose AddAnalysisNotes in Show commands containing list. Then press Shift + F10 in Press shortcut keys text box and click Assign button to assign this shortcut to the selected command.

If you still want to use other shortcut on keyboard to open the right-click context menu, please press the Menu key on keyboard which also can open the right-click context menu.
