Zoom in/ out hot keys in powerpoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am sorry if I am posting the question in wrong forum. I could not find the relevant one. Is there a way to zoom in/ zoom out slides in design mode without using the mouse? This is done through CTRL+ Mouse up or CTRL+ Mouse down. But I can't use the mouse and want to do it through the keyboard shortcuts.

    If there is an API which can emulate CTRL+MOUSE UP through sendkeys, I will be happy to use that.

  • Hi,

    The Zoom In, Zoom Out and Zoom to Fit are used regularly for fine-tuning placements and dimensions of various shapes.

    I’m afraid there is no keyboard shortcut to be used to quickly access those functions.

    But I find a VBA macro could set this property to emulate these effect.

    Sub main()
    Application.ActiveWindow.View.Zoom = 120
    End Sub

    But to create a custom keyboard shortcut, you should capture the keyboard typing and then run this macro. It'a somehow difficult for PowerPoint, you could try to do that resort to Hook.
