How to disable the Debug button in the Run-time error dialog box in VBA? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Is there a quick setting I can use to disable the Debug option when an Excel macro encounters a run-time error?  I do not want the user to be able to click Debug and end up in the the VB Editor.

I am working on the program's error management, but until I've trapped and managed all the errors in a more user-friendly way I just want to prevent the user from clicking the Debug option...

    Thanks.

  • All I needed to do was to lock the VBA project. Now the Debug button is unavailable when runtime error occurs.
