MATCH () with multiple conditions (mb VBA needed) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Seems, needs universal macro, or the optimal formula "MATCH ()" for big data

    http://1drv.ms/1PooKwV

    The file is my question, please help.

    PS: That formula in the file

    =INDEX($A$1:$K$9,MATCH(LARGE(IF(($B$1:$B$9=$B2)*($D$1:$D$9<>"Type 1"),$K$1:$K$9),1),$K$1:$K$9,0),COLUMN())
    well for small tables. But if table have thousands rows - very long time waiting.

    If cell in "C" column (for "Type 1" only in "D" column) completely coincides with value from other range of column D, then copy/paste the values in the corresponding cells. Sry my English.

    Example. C2 and C7 have in column "D" value "Type 1". So E2:J2 and E7:J7 need formula.
    C2=C10. С2=С9. It is necessary to choose from the found coincidence only with biggest value in a column K

    Row for value C9 in K9>than K10 in in the found coincidence C10.
    So E2=E9. F2=F9... till J2=J9.

    Help, please.
