App capabilities with internet client

    Question

  • Hi Everyone,

I am student Windows8 developer. I make apps as my hobbies. I want to ask that if I want to make daily updating app then do I have to host my app to a server. Do I have to create separate website so that when I update the website, its updates my app. I found out HTML5 apps and website are a bit similar but I do not have too much knowledge in these areas. For Example, app like CNET updates frequently in the day, are they using RSS method to update frequently .

    Thank you for reading!
