SSIS DateTime variable missing milliseconds RRS feed

  • Question

  • All, I am new to SSIS and am trying to figure out how to resolve the following problem. I really appreciate any help/feedback on this.

I have an Execute SQL Task that I am using to find the Max Date in the table. This max date is later used to make data transfer in a Data Flow Task. The Max Date is assigned to a Variable1 of DateTime type.

What I am finding is that when the max date is assigned to Varibale1, it is missing the milliseconds part. So if the max date in the table is '2012-01-31 20:30:28.820', then the Variable1 is assigned a value of 1/31/2012 8:30:28 PM. The milliseconds (.820) is missing. As a result of missing this milliseconds part I am getting incomplete data transfers. Is there any way that the Variable1 can be assigned the whole value including the milliseconds.

TIA for any help. I really appreciate it.
