How do you reclaim an MSDN subscription when an employee leaves? RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do you reclaim an MSDN subscription that has been "Assigned" via the Volume Licensing site?

An employee to which the subscription was assigned has left and should no longer have access to the benefits, however we do not have another employee to which the subscription is to be assigned and will not for 6 - 12 months.

The subscription will not expire within this time - we are only very early in the 2 yr renewal period.

  • Hi Stuart,

The admin would be able to remove the assignment from the portal. For assistance, please contact the support at https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter/Help/Contact.aspx

    Dear Stuart,

You can contact the Volume Licensing (VLSC) administrator in order to modify the user details like, first name, last name and email id or remove it from the agreement.
