Hosting .Net Application with SQL Server 2008 in Linux RRS feed

    Greetings for the day.

    I just wanted to clarify, if we can host .net application with sql server as back end in Linux server? Kindly reply as soon as possible.

    Microsoft® SQL Server® ODBC Driver 1.0 for Linux is a Linux driver for native connectivity to an MSSQL Server database. The following is download link.

  • SQL Server is only available for Windows platforms.However, the SQL Server ODBC driver enables you to access SQL Server from applications running on Linux and UNIX platforms.
