Error executing SQL statement. Query timeout expired. Try to execute again? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi All

    Good day,

Hope you are all doing well. What happened is we tried to install windows updates on our servers last 5/28/2019 after the updates were successfully installed the users experienced a problem with their inventory software running on their computers. They cannot open the software and it keeps on freezing on launch so what we did after several troubleshooting steps is to rollback all updates that were installed on 5/28/19.

After the updates rollback, the software is back to normal and users are now utilizing it BUT some modules and functions are defective it will freeze and result to not responding state until an error pops up “ Error executing SQL statement. Query timeout expired. Try to execute again? ”

We did not experience this problem before the updates were installed.

We have started necessary services related to the software but still not helping.

Our setup is we have a separate Application server and SQL server and the users have the software installed on their computes.

Hoping for your positive response on this issue.

    Thanks
