Spell Checker No Longer Works in Forum Editor

Question
-
Hi,
I've been using a spell checker extension in Internet Explorer for years, but it no longer works in the forum's new editor.
Can you fix this or at least provide a spell checker?
(Ha, I just tried spell-checking this post, but again it didn't work. Old habits die hard, I guess.)
Edit:
To be clear, what I meant by "it doesn't work" is that the option is greyed out in the context menu, so I can't even run it. I assume the tool looks for text inputs on the page but the new editor is probably just a fancy div + JavaScript, correct? Here's the extension: http://www.iespell.com/
Thanks,
Dave

Does the editor work here:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/editor This is the editor we are using. It may be that the editor simply doesn't support it. Of course, we'll be testing this out and then triaging the issue. But it may take a while.
Thanks for your patience and reporting this.

Hi Naomi,
Thanks for trying other browsers. Perhaps all spell checkers require input elements instead of div elements. That's the only way they can distinguish between user input and static content. (Though I'm just assuming that the code editor uses div instead of input.)
I'm actually aware that other browsers have built-in spell checkers, but I don't see how that's any better than using a free add-on for IE. I'm not intrested in switching browsers anyway - I tried FireFox a while ago (and still use it for cross-browser testing of web sites once in a while) but frankly I don't like it :)

I personally once I switched to Google Chrome would never use other browsers. I use IE only for one particular site (it's better in IE), for everything else it's Google Chrome for me. I currently have about 10+ instances with this one (where I'm typing it) with about 30 different tabs opened.

This is not the solution by any means (just a slight workaround), but I paste or type a word in the IE search bar when I'm not sure how to spell it. It then drops the correct spelling as a suggestion.

Hi,
Interesting, I wasn't aware of that. It doesn't seem to be working for me but that's probably because I've changed the "providers". I'll play around with it.
And yes, I agree that it's not a good long-term solution ;)
Thanks,
