  • WER LocalDumps does not dump 32-bits application on 64-bits Windows 2008 when the application crash, even I set both HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps in Windows Registry and enable Windows Error Reporting. Is there any other Registry item need to be changed?

  • Hi, Guys

    Thank you for your reply.

I found the reason is that the registry item HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AcDebug\Auto has been set to 1 in that machine.  After i removed it, the problem was gone and i got the dump file.

    Thanks again.
