How do I find out which template is in use?

I can see if I create a team site collection, on the right hand site menu, we have documents, lists, site, discussions(team discussion),sites, people and groups, But I'm looking another company's intranet, they have documents, pictures, lists, discussions(general discussions), surveys.
I'm trying to figure out what template they are using, I know they are using the out of box template, but it doesn't look exactly like the team template, can any one tell me what template they are using by above menu items?
I hope there is an easy way to know what template a site is using.
Thanks a lot- Edited by Mike Walsh FIN Tuesday, March 24, 2009 7:07 PM Subject expanded - please be more creative in future - "template" as the full subject isn't enough!

Hi,
"Thank you. But I created a standard team site. The menus are a little different."
-They could have created a site using the team site template and then added lists and libraries like survey, discussions etc.

export the site template, then rename the stp to cab, look thru the xml for the type (sounds right anyway :)Tuesday, March 24, 2009 5:53 PM

Can you tell me how to export a site template?
Also I only have a guest account for their site. can I export a site template?
By looking at the menus in above message, can anyone recognize what template it is using?

The template you say the other Intranet is using sounds like a typical and very standard "Team Site" template.

Thank you. But I created a standard team site. The menus are a little different.
It doesn't have Survey. And also it's called team discussion.
vs. the other company's site has survey, and general discussion. so I think it may not be team site template.Tuesday, March 24, 2009 7:41 PM -
