att connection manager disappeared

    Question

  • I was finally able to get my att account activated.  But now that I have, I can no longer see the connection underneath the available wireless connections.  when open the att app I get an error 

    Like i said, my 3g connection is working, but I have no good way to check usage to switch connections etc.

    Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any ideas?

  • Hey Kyle,

     

    Let's try using System Restore to see if you can go back to a restore point that the AT&T application was working properly. You can do this by:

    • Enter the Start screen
    • Swipe from right to left on the right side of your screen to expand the Charms column
    • Select Search in the Charms column
    • Enter System Restore into the search field
    • Select the Settings option in the right column
    • Select Restore system files and settings from a restore point in the list of items displayed from the search

     

    Then follow the prompts in the System Restore window to try to restore to a point when the application was working properly.
