Windows Media Platform RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Since Microsoft is working on unifying Windows, Windows Phone, Xbox, and Windows Live, then there should be a unified Media Software. Windows 7 features include Windows Media Player, and Windows Media Center. Zune Software is also there for Windows Phones and Zune Devices. Why don't Windows 8 combines the whole three media softwares in a single compatible platform for Windows and Windows Phone? Windows Media Center features the Metro Style, Zune also does the same. It's efficient to revamp Windows Media Center to include Zune+Media Player features in a Metro Style App, so that Windows will run media files only with a single complete software, imilar to Apple's iTunes. In this case, Windows Phones and Zune Devices will be able to sync, update, backup, restore through the Windows Media Center that supports these frameworks. This will boost Microsoft Media Platform with an inhanced compatibility and ease of access for any kind of media and devices.
