I am new to this - so please forgive me if this is a known answer - I have dug thru the doc and such and examples and cannot find a solution.
I have a 3 DB system using ntier - each machine runs a sync to the other machines
I provision my master fine, then provision my slaves.
The problem is I start with fully populated databases (due to the amount of data) and this results in about 3 hours worth of errors while it tries to sync data already there and errors on it all.
Is there some way to provision the DB to tell it to start form a certain point? (IE: Only start syncing form here on - ignore existing data)
Ah. Figured it out.
Provision master db.
Back it up
Restore it to slaves
SyncRestoreFixup on slave
