Is it possible to retrieve data from Azure Storage (table) to use on the VM(Windows Server 2012 R2)? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm a total noob in this computing field and want to use Azure for my research project in traffic engineering.

My team wants to assess some data (that we want to store in the table storage) through the R2 virtual machine.

With my account granted from Azure training for researchers, I have so far got to run the R2 on VM.

Currently I'm trying to upload the table (which is converted to .csv format) on my Azure storage account through Azure Storage Explorer and it's taking a while.

But assuming I get through uploading all the data, how do I access this from my VM?

In the training I learned how to give commands on the table storage through IPython notebook.

But I want to use R2 VM, is there any way? How do I call the data from the storage?

Thank you very much in advance,

Please note that I'm quite new at this.

    Soomin
