    Hi,

How do I know that a request came from Intranet or Internet zone in ASP.Net?

I have two application, in which one href refers to the another application running on different server. So this external application link differs for intranet and internet.

If I know the request zone then, based on that, I can change the href for external intranet application.

Please let me know, if any other solution for this.

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,

    Jaxx.

Use Request.UserHostAddress within your code to get the callers IP Address. Your internal addresses should fall into a reserved address range for internal addresses. Contact your network support people and find out what range they have allocated. Look this up on www.DNSSTUFF.COM - it should fall into a range that cannot be used as an external IP address.
