We couldn't get your developer license for Windows RT RRS feed

  • Question

  • After a few months of successful development on the Surface RT, renewing the developer license several times, this morning the developer license cannot be renewed.

We couldn't get your developer license for Windows RT. Error 0xC0020017

This Surface RT has had the firmware update applied that Microsoft released earlier this week.

We do Xbox LIVE development on this device.  I have switched the LIVE environment back to Prod, but it still fails.

Any ideas to fix this?  Development has ground to a halt because of this.

  • I'm getting the same error. But rebooting doesn't work. I have the full version of VS2012 Pro, and the device we're developing on is a Samsung tablet running Win8 Pro.

    Any ideas?
