    Entity framework just an Object/Relational Mapping (O/RM) framework which is an enhancement to ADO.NET that gives developers an automated mechanism for accessing & storing the data in the database. The number of tables supported by the entity framework depends on the database you are using. Not from the performance considerations, for SQL Server 2016, the sum of the number of tables in a database cannot exceed 2,147,483,647. Details please see :Maximum Capacity Specifications for SQL Server
