    Hi there,

I have a webform named main.aspx which I use for user sign in, I also have a jquery file in another folder named maintainconnection.js.

There is no reference in  main.aspx to jquery nor to maintainconnection.js, still when I run main.aspx it tries to execute maintainconnection.js and gives me an error that $ is not recognized....

I renamed main.aspx to mainreg.aspx and now it works.

VS2013 is the version I am currently using.

Where is the right place to inform Microsoft about this bug ?

Are you sure this is a bug and not an artifact from browser caching?  By renaming the file, you force the browser to grab the latest file from the server.

Can you elaborate this bug? You can post code here and try to explain. That will be helpful to other users too
