  • Direct Link: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=11887

Use the other link to get an eval key.

Eval and Retail source are identical.

"Mark/Propose As Answer" if you got one.

  • Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I get the full version of the "Windows Embedded Standard 7 Toolkit". We are MSDN subscribers, have 1000+ Windows Embedded devices in the organisation. I was told by our MS reseller that it is now part of Visual Studio 2012 Professional, but I cannot find anything called "Windows Embedded Standard 7 Toolkit "

In This article, MS mentions, and I quote:

"1. From your Standard 7 Service Pack 1 Toolkit DVD, run the setup.exe command."

Where does one find the "Standard 7 Service Pack 1 Toolkit DVD? Or more to the point download the DVD image.

I know this is an old post, but if anyone can chip in, I'd be most grateful.

    Many thanks

    W.

  • Could you contact your distributor? I know there is a OPK named "Windows Embedded Standard 7w /SP1 EMB English x32/ x64 OPK w/ Toolkit". We are supported by our distributor this tool to implement our WES7 image.

By the way, the OPK kit number is X17-48542.

  • Don't waste your time (or Money). Just use the "Eval" Version its identical to Retail.
Difference is the 180 day nag-Screen. That will be turned off by entering your toolkit key.
