SSAS Tabular Translations don't appear on Excel

Question
-
Hi, i need help on SSAS translations not appearing on Excel. I have a tabular model developed on SSDT, and for some reasons i'm trying a French translation associated to my language pt-PT, so that in my personal VM with portuguese settings i can confirm it works.
What happens is that the translation doesn't work, i have to force the LocaleIdentifier=2070 (for Portugal) on the Excel connection and then it appears with the changes.
Does someone know or have any idea why do i have to force the LocaleIdentifier? Basically, if i don't force this attribute on connection, translations don't work.I don't know if i'm missing something basic, of if it's something related with the VMs on the organization, because, though my VM has portuguese regional settings, i work for a French company, so maybe there is some French configuration on my Windows that i have to change...
(BTW, In PBI Desktop, the same is happening - I can't see the translations associated to my language, and as i'm connected to a SSAS tabular, i can't change the settings in the PBI report file... does someone know can i change them????)
Thank you and best regards.
