    Hi all,

The institution that I work for, provided me remote desktop access to their Windows 2016 server.

Now I must deploy my .net core 2.2 web app (wwww.myinstitution.gov) using this server.

Could you help me step by step to do this. ( I already installed .net core 2.2 hosting bundle)

1- forward my domain wwww.myinstitution.gov to this server's dns address

2- transfer my .net core 2 publish folder to C:\inetpub\wwwroot

    3- Do what ever necessary

    thank you

    Hi fatihbarut,

The steps you mentioned seems ok, adding correct hostname and IP address on DNS server, and deploy your application to "C:\inetpub\wwwroot" folder in your IIS.

Besides, you can configure your Site Bindings like below.

    With Regards,

    Fei Han

thanks, the only thing which was wrong in the process the DNS of the name server must be opened to internet by System Admin not by me...

(I tried installing DNS server first but obviously it was wrong approach. The server wasn't belong to us and modem and NAT was not belong to us for port forwarding etc.)
