xap and clientbin folder sourcecontrol RRS feed

  • Hi , I am a developer for visual studio source control plugin. I am trying to avoid xap file and clienrbin folder in silverlight to chek into the repository.

    Is there any API  to exclude Clientbin and xap folder from committing changes to repository?

    Please try the SccProperties Function .

    If the return value is SCC_E_FILENOTCONTROLLED ,it indicates that the specified file or project is not under source control.

  • Hi,

    I think you could use the SccCheckin Function to exclude Clientbin and xap folder for your need:

    • if the file name does not have suffix '.xap' ,then exclude it from the lpFileNames.
    • if the parentfolder of the file is ' Clientbin ',then exclude it from the lpFileNames.

    All the files excluded from the lpFileNames would not be checked in.
