InfoPath always saving as the System Account when user fills out form RRS feed

  • I don't know if this is an InfoPath question or a "How does Active Directory work with SharePoint" kind of question!

    We had a user sho changed her login name from DOMAIN\UserMaidenName to DOMAIN\UserMarriedName.  Now every time that she tries to fill out an InfoPath form and save it, as herself, it saves as the System Account.

    Is there a utility or something I have to run to make this fix?  Is this a problem with the Shared Services User Profile or the WSS User Profile?  Etc....

    Does the issue occur when she log into the SharePoint site? Or only occur in InfoPath?

  • Thank you for your reply.  The issue occurs when she is logged in to the SharePoint Site, editing a form using InfoPath Forms Services.  Unfortunately the link you posted does not apply because she is a regular user - not an administrator or farm administrator.  We did not use her account to set up the App pool, we used a service account for that.

    Still looking, and thanks for your assistance.  If we find what it was, I'll post back here.
