Attach workflow to a List in Many Sites RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have many teamsites under my parent site (around 30-40).

I have created a custom list with a custom sharepoint designer 2013 workflow in one site. When i save list as template and add the list to these sites, workflow doesnot come with it.

I want to add the list to all the sites along with the workflow. I can do it manually.

But is there a easier way to do it.

Any help on this will be really grateful...

  • Hi,

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to attach workflow to a list in multiple sites.

We can first save the list as a template, then save the workflow as a temple, export the workflow template to local.

After that, we can import the wsp file to the solution gallery, active the workflow feature in the subsites, now you would see the workflow in the list of your subsites.

I have tested it, it works like a charm, you can follow the steps as below article.
