Problem about developing Word2010-Addin in C# with VS2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi! all, i'm using VS2010 C# to develop a word2010-addin,now I encountered a problem:

I updated the code after the first debuging, then i pressed F5 to debug again, but the new code didn't work.

I tried to  clean and rebuild the project, but it still didn't word.

    How to solve it?

    Many thanks in advance.

  • I think i have found a solution.

First, uninstall the addin through the control pane of windows.

Second, open command prompt, and switch to the path which mage.exe is,input mage.exe -cc to clean application cache.

Finally, press F5 to debug,i can see the new button on the tab.

    Thanks!

  • What kind of Add-in (what VS template are you using)?

Please provide more information about the code you changed (the code, for example). Are you getting any errors or warnings? If yes, what are they?

  • If I'm understanding you correctly, a simpler way would be to use the menu entry "Clean Build".
