Migrate ASM to ASRM RRS feed

  • Hi guys ,is there any guide (step by step) for Azure environment to migrate from classic to ARM. (VNet, VPN, Automation, VMS, Storage, etc)?

    Really appreciate your help.

    At this time, we do not support some features and configurations to migrate from ASM to ARM

    Unsupported features are listed below:

    Resource provider

    Feature

    Compute

    Boot diagnostics.

    Compute

    Unassociated virtual machine disks.

    Compute

    Virtual machine images.

    Network

    Unassociated reserved IPs (if not attached to a VM). Reserved IPs attached to VMs are supported.

    Network

    Unassociated network security groups (if not attached to a virtual network or network interface). NSGs referenced by virtual networks are supported.

    Network

    Endpoint ACLs.

    Network

    Virtual network gateways (site to site, Azure ExpressRoute, point to site).

    Storage

    Storage accounts.

    Migrate all classic resources to ARM resource is not yet available.

  • Hi, is there a workoround for achieve this goal? I mean, create some resources in the ARM and migrate others?
