ReportViewer makes reports containing graphs and images look blurry/distorted RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I built a number of rdl's that look perfect on sql server 2005 reporting server.  However, I converted them into rdlc's so I could use them in my webform, some of the text looks blurry, especially the images and graphs I use--I dont get it??????  Is this normal?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    John

  • I'm having the same issue using SQL Server 2008 CTP6.  When I view the report (with a graph) logged into the server locally, the report looks fine.  However, when viewing it remotely it looks like garbage.  The only way that I can get it to look right is to zoom out (CTRL + Minus (-) Key) to 80%.  Conversely when I'm on the local box, I can make the graph look bad by zooming into 120% (CTRL + Plus (+) Key).

Could this be an IE setting where it's trying to resize the graphic for me automatically to make it fit?

  • Can you please file a bug through http://connect.microsoft.com and attach the report to the bug?

  • I have upgraded to SQL Server 2008 - RC0 with the same results.
