  • According to the first answer, you need a display width of at least 1344 pixels (one panel of width 320 and one panel of width 1024). 1280 pixels is not wide enough.

  • Hello,

The snap feature in the metro UI requires enough resolution for two panes.  One 320 pixels wide and the other at least 1024.  If you don't have the minimum resolution this will not work.  What is the resolution of your machine?  You can use the control panel to check this value.  If you can not increase the resolution to meet the minimum you can try hooking up an external monitor that supports the minimum.

  • windows 8 needs to come with some solution for this snap furutre for 1248X800 or 1024 as most laptop present are 1248X

This is nice feature and they have to figure it out for most laptop with 1248X resolutions.
