SSIS Server Maintenance Job RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi - I have a fairly new instance of SQL server.

A job has appeared in my SQL Server Agent called SSIS Server Maintenance Job

It has 2 steps. The first step is to run the below SQL code

    DECLARE @role int
    SET @role = (SELECT [role] FROM [sys].[dm_hadr_availability_replica_states] hars INNER JOIN [sys].[availability_databases_cluster] adc ON hars.[group_id] = adc.[group_id] WHERE hars.[is_local] = 1 AND adc.[database_name] ='SSISDB')
IF DB_ID('SSISDB') IS NOT NULL AND (@role IS NULL OR @role = 1)
    EXEC [SSISDB].[internal].[cleanup_server_retention_window]

The second step is to run this code.

    DECLARE @role int
    SET @role = (SELECT [role] FROM [sys].[dm_hadr_availability_replica_states] hars INNER JOIN [sys].[availability_databases_cluster] adc ON hars.[group_id] = adc.[group_id] WHERE hars.[is_local] = 1 AND adc.[database_name] ='SSISDB')
IF DB_ID('SSISDB') IS NOT NULL AND (@role IS NULL OR @role = 1)
    EXEC [SSISDB].[internal].[cleanup_server_project_version]

I didn't set this job up.

Can anyone let me know how it appeared and whether it represents any threat to my instance?

    Thanks
