is this a bug in wec7 pb? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using vs2008 and pb plug in for wec7.

when add the sqlcompact managed provider (SYSGEN_SQLCOMPACTMP )

    a item <Feature Name="Item" CatalogItemId="Item:MS:sysgen_sqlcompact_mp"/> is added to pbxml.

but in command line environment, there is no SYSGEN_SQLCOMPACT_MP, but only have SYSGEN_SQLCOMPACTMP.

    is this a bug?

Answers

  • No, the first one is just a name, the actual environment variable that gets set is SYSGEN_SQLCOMPACTMP, so once you do a clean sysgen you'll have SQL Compact included in your kernel image.

  • I am not sure what you are trying to achieve and Why ?

    Have you checked this "C:\WINCE700\OSDesigns\<Your_bsp>\<your_bsp>\Wince700\<your_bsp_<your_processor>_Retail\cesysgen"

    "SysgenSettings.out"

  • Michel, thanks.  What I am doing now is, we have a txt file which store all sysgen variables we want to add to our platform, this file is maintained seperately. I am writing a utility to read the text file and update our pbxml correspondingly, for all other sysgen variable, the name and the environment variable happen to be the same, except this one. Is there any other one like this one? where can I find a list of all sysgen variable name and corresponding environment variable?

    Thanks
